BFA MT vs BA Theater Arts (Acting) Acceptance?

I’ve been looking thru some of these threads but I’m still slightly unclear on something and would love if someone from Pace/experience with this could answer-

If a student is rejected from the BFA MT program but accepted academically (as the typical case goes,) is that student ALWAYS offered a spot in the BA Theater Arts program? Or is that an option that is only offered sometimes? I know someone wrote that the exact situation was presented to his son last year…

I’m just trying to keep options open! I’m realizing I’m not a huge fan of the school I made as my non-audition-safety, and if (lets stay positive!) I should not get into the Pace MT program it’s still a place I would like to be…but not if I couldn’t study theater!

Thanks!

If you don’t get accepted in to the BFA MT, you don’t automatically get into the BA. You have to mark that as something you’d like to be considered for and you may or may not gain acceptance into that major.
Does that make sense?
