Hi, I’m a sophomore in high school, and I’m interested in technical theatre/stage management. (My grades are honor roll level and I also do take AP classes) I haven’t decided yet what exactly I want to major in but I think I’m going to focus on stage managing. I was the ASM for one semi-big holiday choir show and I also was the SM for the biggest show of the year, the musical. Our high school also held two not big but not small dance and choir show, and I was the SM for both of them. (I was also the ASM for a few other small show) I’m going to continue my technical theatre class until graduation of course, but I was wondering how some UCs are like for their theatre program. I would also like to know the requirements and quality of the programs. I’ve tried looking at their sites, but it seems to only focus on acting so I’m stumped on getting information regarding the programs. (I’m going to be visiting four universities this summer)
