<p>Has anyone ever used the long term parking at the Clarion Hotel near the airport and/or know if this would be a safe location to leave a vehicle for an extended period of time? D and I were doing a little research today for long term parking needed over Christmas break and found the Clarion averages about $4/day vs. the $10-12/day at the airport or $9/day at Alabama Airport.

<p>How important is it for her to have her car at the airport versus taking the UA or a private shuttle to/from Tuscaloosa? For winter break, that might be a better option. As for parking at the Clarion, I would contact the hotel directly about booking parking and ask about the security of the lot. The neighborhoods surrounding the airport aren’t exactly the best in Birmingham.</p>
