BHP 2014 undergraduates :)

Haha, just replied to your other post brandond.

Quick tips:

 1. Create a solid resume that is filled with what you believe to be noteworthy activities and accomplishments. Do not be afraid to explain what it is and describe what your role and result was - remember CAR - Context, Action, Result (if there was one)

Maintain a good HS GPA and get good SAT/ACT scores. You can find out what is average at [Admissions - Business Honors Program - McCombs School of Business - The University of Texas at Austin](http://www.mccombs.utexas.edu/programs/bhp/admissions/freshstat.asp).

Scores aren’t everything. Put serious time and thought into making your essay unique and write it well. The essays for BHP are the same as UT so put your best foot (or perhaps hand) forward when writing them. Essay A is about a person who impacted you and Essay B is something you are passionate about.

Get a good recommendation from an academic source that also knows you outside of the classroom and about your personality.

If you get an interview, think about why you want to be in BHP, how you will leverage it to help your future and what questions you may have for the interviewer.

Hope that helps.
