i have no more colleges to hear back from (getting into 8/9 of the random colleges i applied to), and i'm going to UT for sure as the class of 2010. UT was the first college that accepted me. Getting BHP would be an awesome way to end this application process.
i hope my postman is fast, and i will get it on the 31st. lol!

<p>I called BHP yesterday and they said it would be out April 1st. I really hope I made it, I was upset about UPenn yesterday and this could make up for that. Looking at the averages my SATs are lower but my rank is higher so hopefully that makes up for it.</p>

<p>the letter said the avg was 1.8% and the average sat was 1464.
when i applied, i was top 1.1%, but my sat was a little lower than the average, in the 1400s still.</p>
<p>i think what helped me were my recomendations, esp the one from my debate coach, and my many leadership positions in ECs. my essays were all right, i guess. but i don't know.</p>

<p>I was 4/850... 0.4% apparently. 1550 old/2340 new. I had scanty leadership, but lotsa involvement anyway. My essays sucked and were copied and pasted from other apps. My recs were okay.</p>

<p>really dissapointed. I've been rejected from 3 schools, waitlisted at 2, and only accepted to my safety and Texas. I feel like I really wasted a lot of my time trying to do well in school (which I thought I did).</p>
