Well I was recently accepted into the business school out of state. However, I'm thinking of doing the honors program. Is there any way I can apply for it now or do I have to wait until the end of freshmen year? Also is the normal business school pretty competitive and how does the honors program compare to it? Is it a lot more work, harder, etc. etc. Is the business program easy if its just regular if you're in the top 2 - 3%?

Business Honors is styled in an MBA-type seminar class format, with smaller classes and more personal attention, and more challenging course work. You will have to wait to apply for sophomore admission and you should check McCombs's website for more info because it requires recommendations and essays I believe. The normal business school is plenty respected - check out the website for more info.

Thanks kscirch. Also is it harder for out of staters to get into the BHP program if you are applying for it as a high school senior (I don't think it would matter afterwards)? Also what % of the business school and UT Austin as a whole is out of state? Thanks.
