How does BHP stand up against Michigan's Ross, USC's Marshall, and NYU's Stern?

Look towards the bottom for rankings.

McCombs on its own is a top ten b-school.

BHP is well above that. It's basically a Wharton level education at a public school price with a public school atmosphere (meaning actually fun).

I'm not positive, but I think just regular McCombs beats out all of those schools.

i visited marshall, and i think that ut's bhp has a better program. cant say about ross. it's ranked higher than mccombs but i havent visited umich.

I am 200% sure that Ross is better than regular McCombs. Not to sure how BHP compares to it. It is probably at the same level as Ross.

Accounting at UT is a top ranked program also and compares with all the top including Wharton. The PPA is considered the gold standard for undergrad/masters accounting programs. The kids are extremely highly recruited by the Big 4.

Ross and Stern are pretty prominent, aside from Wharton.

Out of that list, McCombs is only better than Marshall in overall prestige. Yes, McCombs is #1 in Accounting, but when you compare overall school and programs, Ross and Stern are ahead of McCombs.

McCombs BHP, however, is a different story. BHP sees Wharton as its only competition and I agree; BHP is definitely better and higher than Ross and Stern. Likewise, BHP is probably 10 levels higher than the regular McCombs School. My BHP interviewer told me that of the 14 jobs offers Goldman Sachs recently offered at UT, 13 out of the 14 were to BHP students.

So, BHP is MUCH much better than the regular McCombs, although McCombs is a top 10 school. However, Michigan Ross and NYU Stern are much more prestigious (especially Stern) than the regular McCombs School.
