<p>Hi I will be a senior in Fall 2011 and want to apply for Deloitte's Winter 2011 Internship. I have a 3.7 GPA, just completed an accounting internship at a mid-size company, am part of Beta Alpha Psi, and am Vice-president of the student government.</p>

<p>Now the only think I am kind of lacking is networking skills however I wanted to ask your opinion on something.</p>

<p>2 of my friends are currently interning at Deloitte this summer. Can I use this to my advantage somehow in the recruiting process? Can it give me an edge or inside track in some way? I am not sure.</p>

<p>Usually intermediate accounting 2 and a course in auditing is the minimum requirements to get an internship… Anyways, have you ever participates in “extreme tax” or “extreme accounting”; these are programs sponsored by pwc, but will look great on your resume.</p>

<p>i have completed intermediate accounting 2 and will take auditing course in fall 2011.</p>

<p>no i have not heard of those programs by pwc but i will look into it.</p>
