I know it's Finals week next week, but the 'Cats are 6-0 (including winning the Charleston Classic) and should b 7-0 heading into Sunday's game against no. 7 Baylor.

Shurna is healthy and looking dominant and Crawford has come onto his own. Mirk has his usual ups and downs, but frosh PG Sobo has been a steady reliable presence and Cobb, Marcotullio and Hearn can score as well too (Cobb and Marco are still nursing injuries so they really haven't gotten up to speed yet).

If the 'Cats win this one, this will go a long way towards their Tourney chances (since the B1G looks to be the deepest conf. this year, probably will only have to go 9-9 in conf. for a bid) so the team needs a rowdy crowd for the game (3 pm).

Other than Baylor, the only test remaining on the non-conf. schedule is an away game at ranked Creighton.

So all you students - take a study break and fill the student section!

(It'll be largely up to the students to provide the home-court noise since the alums that fill the purple seats are mostly made up of the "wine and cheese" set and seem incapable of providing any noise).

If you can make the game against Mississippi Valley State on Friday, that'll be nice too, but if you can only make one, make it the Baylor game.

If the 'Cats pull out a win here, this will be one of those memories from college that you'll take with you.
