Big Decision What do you think down to 3

Going into Business and have to make a decision

IU (Indiana University)direct admit to Business out of state
SMU (southern methodist university) ends up being the same price
TCU Texas Christian (5,000 cheaper per year)

I'm turning down
Bentley
Miami/Ohio
Babson
American

I'm from Chicago.

Hmm what was the offer at Miami (Ohio) like. I would go there if it matches TCU. What about UIUC? I would opt for Indiana of your 3 top choices.

No UIUC is out…did not apply and Miami was not close in price.

Why did you take Babson off the table?

TCU feels to me to be a significant step down in prestige from SMU and IU. Does that matter to you? What are your priorities in this decision: prestige, fit, finances, location…?

What is it about the final three schools that you like?

It’s hard for me to advise you without knowing more about your circumstances. For example, if finances must be your #1 priority, then TCU would be a good option, even if it’s a bit less prestigious than the others. If your religion is very important to you, then you may be happier at TCU or SMU instead of IU. Etc.

IU … no brainer.

SMU is not religious . It has the networking and the location is nice.

TCU is at the bottom and even though less money not what I’m looking for.

So its basically IU Kelly or SMU (Small Classes)
Babson is $18,000 per year more sooooo its gone.

Indiana University

thanks anyone else

IU …
I just do not believe the other choices to carry the weight that IU will offer nation-wide.

SMU supposedly has a very rich, somewhat snobby student body, but a really good business school.

Thanks any one else

If you want to live in Dallas after you graduate, then SMU. If you want to live anywhere else in the world, then Indiana.

^ I would second that.
