Big Essay Dilemma!!! Pleaseeeeeeee Help!!!

Hi guys,
Perhaps I should introduce myself first, as I am posting for the first time. I am an international student and I will apply RD to Yale. And, yes , Yale is my absolute dream school. I just love it!
Before I move to my problem I would like to congratulate all of you, who got in early. I wish you to spend the time of your life at Yale, and there is no doubt that you will!!! To those of you who got defferred, I wish you tons of good luck for April. The wonder didn't happen for you around Christmas. I wish you from the bottom of my heart that you experience it in April. And to those who didn't get in - just remember all the remarkable things you've done so far. Look in the mirror and realize what an incredible person you are. Then no matter how hard it is, try to smile. If Yale didn't appreciate you, another college will and you will be happy no matter where you end up!
Now to my big problem which progresses to the dilemma of my life. I have written two essays for the commonapp and I was wondering which one to submit to Yale. So I gave them to my counselor and to my friend at Yale ( a current sophomore) to read them and tell me what they think. My counselor liked the first essay the most. She says that it is full of personality and so on. She also liked the second essay, but not so much as the first. And my friend at Yale didn't like the first one. He told me that he found it somewhat bewildering. But he was fascinated by the second one, saying that it is "the best one I've ever read". He also gave the first essay a rating of 4 and the second one an 8.
So, guys, I have no idea what I should do now. The deadline is approaching and I don't know whom to listen to? What would you do in my place - would you go with the suggestion of the counselor (3 years experience) or with the one of the Yale student? PLEASE HELP ME!!! I am feeling so desperate right now...any advice will be appreciated.
Btw, if someone wants to read my essays, I will be glad to send them to him/her. Just post your e-mails.
Thanks. I wish you all a gay Christmas (they call it in this way at Yale)!

I'll read them for you, if you'd like. My email is in my profile. :)

Hi, I'd also be happy to read them. My e-mail is also on the profile.

Thank you so much!!! I'll send you the essays as attached files. I really appreciate it!

Can't you send in both?

Well, my friend suggested the same, but my counselor says that in this way I'll be focusing on one at the same thing too much. You see the essay that she (counselor) liked focuses on a part of my life and what I took out of it. And the second essay, that my friend liked focuses on a specific event from that period.
Besides, if I send both essays that will make three essays together with the one about the activity. Won't the adcoms get irritated?

I'd also be happy to read them. Email: effervescent_progeny@yahoo.com

Go ahead and send all of them. I sent yale an extra essay and a 30-page science fair paper. (and I got in, obviously I did not accept it)

Hmmm, maybe I should really ponder about sending both essays, no matter what my counselor says. But I'll wait to hear what the people above will say after reading them.
Thanks for your feedback!!!You're awesome guys!!!
