I took a year off and am working for a small tax CPA firm. I plan to pass the CPA exam before the end of this year (passed 3, audit left). I plan to go back to get a Masters in Tax degree. I've applied to Notre Dame, USC and some other schools. I wanted to work and pay for college as well. What do you think is the chance that a big four firm might be willing to hire me for a year? Would it be like an intership and would they pay? I'm keen on getting some big firm experience and perhaps my audit hours for my CPA license.

I had a reasonably good GPA 3.8 from a good accounting college in nor cal. (I just graduated this last summer). So my main question is this: do you think one of the big four would be willing to give me a part-time position say in LA. And if so what's the best way to apply?
