I am student parent looking to take my 5 year-old to the Big Game (she loves Cal football.) I was asking some other students if there was a discounted rate (or free) for children, but they said that I should just walk in with her, and nobody would care. Is it this easy? Would this really work? I don’t really want to take a bus all the way over there, get her hopes up, and then get shot down at the door. Any advice?

Also, if I were to take a non-ucb student to the game with me, would I have to buy a non-student ticket to sit with them? I already have season tickets.

Tickets are assigned to specific seating locations. If you bring in the 5 year old, the child will probably be sitting on your lap for the entire game as this particular event is quite crowded. The non-UCB student, if they don’t have a ticket either, may be sitting on your lap as well.

Thanks! (10 char)
