Hey everyone, I want to attend the right college for my major RADIOLOGIST TECH. Where i don't have to take more prereqs and just go ahead with my course classes and do hands on training. I want to get started on my job as soon as possible. Although i have completed my prereqs I don't want to waste anymore of my time and money on other unnecessary classes. Your help is very much appreciated.

THANKS!

What are you asking, my friend?

hi, i am asking which is the best type of school to attend for radiologist tech, because the college i am enrolled in is giving me prereq classes that i think is unneccesary. I want to be at a faster pace not just doing prereqs that are high school classes.

THANKS! I really appreciate your help

You need to have sufficient math and physics, tho’. Kaiser Permanente (the HMO) runs its own imaging school/training program in Nor. Cal. I believe it is fairly difficult to be admitted and they probably have a special entry exam. Sorry I don’t have more info.

I live in FL do you know if we have Kaiser permanente (the HMO) in florida or any similar school to that.

You should pay a visit to your closest community college, and talk with the counselors there about where you can get the training you want. Most places will have a certain number of pre-requisites because not all of the students who enroll have prior education or experience need to benefit most from the program.
