What is the biggest jump you have seen in your sat scores, or anybody elses? Ok well i guess i will start..i know someone that has gone from a, 950 combined, to a 1320...but he basically prepped during the whole summer.

oh and u can mention your/their stats if u'd like. This person is now attending berkeley..class of 08'.

official?
well mine is unofficial
my first practice test
V 300 M 770
Jan SAT
V 650 M 800
I'm going to raise my V on the may SAT

How much time is there between your first practice test and the jan sat? Well congrats on that big jump!

Yeeaaaa Baby! 1040 POINT JUMP!!! THIS SHOULD INSPIRE EVERYONE!!!!

I read my arse off since eighth grade, read philosophy by AWESOME IMMANUEL KANT/JOHN STUART MILL/ Philosophers of India as well!!!
First practice test: 280 V, 460 M, 490 WR --> 1230/2400 (GRADE 7)
PSAT: 670 CR, 800 M, 800 WR--> 2270/2400 (GRADE 11)

March SAT: screwed up MATH with STUPID CARELESS ERRORS:
660 CR, 710 M, 770 WR

WOW HYPER!!! that is incredible, can everyone include the time it took u to go from 1 score to another

last year i jumped 100 points in verbal from may to june i think it was, i didn't do any additional prepping inbetween it all just clicked for me on the test the second time. not huge but still substantial and made me feel really good. (570-670)

plagmayer- thank you! There's hope that I may be able to bring that 660 up to a 750+ CR...I had a cold the day of the March SAT, and bad sleep + light fever

I used to always get that same range Hyper, but practice and a cool head helped me go from 650ish to 800 CR

thanks ramsfan!

I jumped up 100 points (1350-1450) without doing any studying at all.

Of course, the 1350 was a 150 point drop from what I expected to get after my PSAT's so it kinda makes sense.

"and a cool head helped me go from 650ish to 800 CR"
being cool and calm during the test is the biggest adive i can offer

I got an 1880 (580cr, 670m, 630w) with absolutely no prep at all on the PSAT and on my first try on the SAT with only taking some practice tests from Princeton Review's book got a 2110 (700v, 720m, 690w). I'm taking it again in June and hoping to raise my score to 2200+.

GL in june odan!
