While reviewing due dates for financial aid at my prospective colleges, I realized that I mistook the transfer student deadline at Cornell as the regular decision deadline. The regular decision deadline was January 2nd which i have missed by a mile. I'm sending in my information this weekend. Have I already screwed myself or can I still be considered?

Just send it in as soons as possible. I have a feeling a lot of people missed the deadline. Cornell will probably give priority to those who submitted by the date, but that doesn’t mean you will not be considered. However, you MUST send in all your info ASAP!!! Good luck!

Don’t worry. I missed the deadline too and there were several other CCers who dd the same. It shouldn’t make way too much a difference but you won’t get “priority” (meaning they’ll look at us after the on time submissions

Thanks guys, just had a moment of panic when I realized that.

You’re asking the wrong people. Contact Cornell’s Office of Financial Aid as they are the only authoritative source for a correct answer.

Gifford- I already did.Well didn’t actually call them but I sent them an email before I got on here.

Also, go online, somewhere on their website you can find a spot to upload everything. Of coarse if you cannot copy your taxes onto your computer you may have to mail those, but I’d try to get them as much as you can online. Also, don’t forget about the PROFILE, it takes some time too.
