Big mistake when calculate GPA

In reviewing my SDSU application this morning, I noticed that I’ve included noncredit courses (ESOL and English 48, 49) when I calculated for my GPA and in my self-reported grade on my application. I’m going to call the admission tomorrow. I’m now terrified since there are only 3 days left before the deadline.

since you’re calling them about the mistake i think you’ll be fine

@pizzalov3r - calling is the best option. But in future, please go by whatever GPA is your transcript rather than trying to calculate it yourself. If the college wants to calculate using their own methodology - they will.

@MedSciBud I used the GPA in my transcript but the GPA in my transcript is included those courses (ESOL and English 48, 49). My friend forwarded me this email “CCC transcript does not calculate transferable GPA. Therefore, it is students responsibility to review their transcript for transferable courses and determine their GPA for transfer to a four-year university.”
