ok, so I'm in a bit of a sticky situation here...
I applied ED to williams, and I had everything in by the Nov. 10th Deadline, with one exception, which was my SAT II scores. I called admissions and they said that I could take the test in November and submit my scores when I receieved them. The problem is, I took the test standby and so my scores were delayed two weeks, and I just recently received them.
After initially submitting my application, I got a postcard saying I would be informed if anything was missing (as did everyone else who applied ED). Because of how long it took for me to receive my scores, and then how long it has taken me to send them, Williams won't receive them before they make a decision. Does anyone know why I didn't receive a notice saying that my SAT II scores were missing? In the postcard they said they would let me know, and I see the scores as important to my application, so why have I heard nothing if they haven't received my scores? I'd really appreciate any thoughts on this, I'm pretty worried. Thanks!

They may already have your scores. I honestly don't think that the College Board actually mails the scores to the colleges. I have to assume, in this day and age, that there is some sort of computerized database that sends the colleges score updates.

What I would do is e-mail your regional admissions rep this weekend, explaining that you just received the SATII scores today and that you are faxing a copy of your score sheet this afternoon.

Working in the admissions of an elite liberal arts college on the west coast, I know for a fact that we receive paper copies of all SAT/SAT II/ACT scores. I'm pretty sure that there is no computerized system, as my boss recently mentioned how convienient it would be to have them all online or in a database. However, this may not be the case for all schools.

Your best bet would be to call the school and ask - usually the scores get to the school pretty fast (you'd actually be surprised, considering the inefficiency of the CB), so they may have them already. Anyway, if you're really concerned, just call.
