My D has been waitlisted in two of her top 5 choices. We are waiting in ND. Does anyone know whether financial aid comes with the acceptance letter?

i think financial aid comes separately … although i may be wrong

I don’t know if financial aid comes included (although it would make sense that it would as it’s getting close to may 1st), but what i can say (in response to the title of the thread) that acceptances do come in large envelopes. I got in EA and I knew when I saw it that I got in.

Financial aid probablly doesn’t come in the same envelope because they are mailed from 2 separate offices. Also, financial aid came separately from all my other schools.

Aid comes in a seperate envelope about a couple of days later I think. Accepetances come in a big envelope with the phrase welcome home on it or at least it was on the ea letters

The acceptance letter is sent in a folder that is enclosed in a large envelope.

Financial aid letters arrive in the mail approximately 2 weeks after the acceptance letter is sent.

Not to be a pessimist, but do the waitlist/rejection letters arrive in a regular size envelope?

Yes - the waitlist/rejection letters arrive in a regular size envelope.

now that the decision were at earliest mailed today, i hope to get mine by monday… i can’t wait and would really like to know!!!

Hawkswim,
Do you think they were mailed today because the internationals were emailed?

that is probably what happened, and is a very good probability. i have no hard facts, but that would be logical…hopefully they did b/c i really want to find out, but at this point, i doubt the letter would have gotten to RI for tomorrow lol

by the way, does anyone know if you can pick your mail up at a local post office in the day before they close. i was thinking that maybe i could go check on saturday afternoon and maybe it would be there, but was not sure if that was allowed

good luck and congrats to all accepted international students.

My post office wouldn’t let me do that for my BC acceptance. I guess it has to do with protocols to be sure that the mail is actually going to the right person. I even offered to show ID and they refused. :/
