BIG or SMALL? HELP!!!

Which kind, in your opinion, is better for undergraduate education?

A large party college with 30~40 thousand students, or a relatively small college with 10~20 thousand students?

A college located in urban area(maybe I will pay more for things like shopping?), or a college located in suburb area?

A college where only 33% classes are in the size less than 20 students, or a college where 40 or more classes are in the size less than 20 students?

What is undergraduate education for? TO expand your horizon, as wide as you can, or TO concentrate directly on certain discipline, even I decided to fulfill graduate education?

Hope to hear your voice!

There’s no general “better” but rather what’s better for each individual.

Small (like LACs) tend to be better for grad school prep (fewer and non-professional majors). Large tend to be better for job prep. Small tend to require more class participation; you can’t hide. Large tend to allow being anonymous in a large lecture hall. Lots of overlap, though.

I don’t see as much difference between 10,000 and 40,000, compared to, e.g., 2,000 at an LAC.
