First off, sorry if this doesn't go here.

The PSATs are October 17th this year, the one date in October that I'm busy and will be unable to take the test. Is this as bad as I'm telling myself? Is it really that bad to not take the test, or is taking it crucial? I'm going to be a junior this coming school year, so there's no point doing it as a senior, correct? Agh. What are all the pros of taking it?

Thanks!

The pros is that it if you do well enough to qualify for the nation merit scholar thats good. But compared to SATs, SAT is more important.
it is also good practice

Oh wait, just kidding, a religious school a few miles away is giving it on Wednesday the 14th. If I want to take it at a different school, do I call them now, over the summer? Hmm.

It serves as good practice. It’s a shame that they don’t make it before the SAT since it is called the PSAT :p

^wait, what is that supposed to mean? The October SAT happens on the 10th?

^ Yup. The PSAT is after the October SAT this year.

^ wow that is so odd that the SAT is first. I would sure like the practice of the PSAT if i were to take it in october

Oh well, guess I’m going to have to make the SATs practice for the PSATs, and not the other way around.
