Ok...
I am a sophomore.
This year I thought it would be beneficial to make my seemingly easy course load rigorous.
I signed up on FLVS for AP Macroeconomics, several factors led to my Withdrawn Failing grade in this class.
My overall GPA is 3.8, and after this F I have no clue what to do.
I don't want it to ruin my GPA, what do you guys recommend.
If I retook the course and aced it, would the A and the F be combined, or would the F be replaced with an A?
Thanks.

The policy depends on the individual school. I know at my school, you can replace any grade (not just failing ones) by retaking the course. Your school may be different. Your guidance counselor and/or administrator could probably let you know what your school's policy is. Some school handbooks also detail the policy.
