<p>I think you should receive it within a week, more or less, depending on where you live.</p>
<p>I got mine after 8 days of waiting, but I live on the west coast. You should get it around 4-5 days after acceptance if you’re an east coasters.</p>

- I don’t know if you guys noticed, but on mine (presumably on yours as well) there was an A with a mini bar-code on the front of the envelope… I’m guessing to signify accepted?</p>
<p>I just got my purple acceptance packet today in the mail!! It made me feel like it was February 15th all over again! Hahahah :)</p>

<p>did you all apply early decision 2? I’m wondering if RD applicants get notified on april 1st or by april 1st…hopefully earlier!</p>

<p>I think the RD people hear on April 1, unless you are chosen for a scholarship. Then you get to hear earlier. My son was given a scholarship and notified on March 11, 2010.</p>
<p>RD email notifications normally go out April 1, earlier if they pull you for something like the MLK scholarship.</p>
<p>I got my purple envelope. I was so excited! and it had the congratulations all embossed and what not! i started singing and dancing and it was awesome 
it made me wonder though what happened if you didn’t get accepted did it have a “sorry” or a “no thank you”? hmm.</p>

<p>MysteryNoodle - the purple envelope is the acceptance packet that admitted students get in the mail.</p>
<p>It was funny. I told my mother I was accepted and if we got a large envelope that meant I was actually kicked out. I told her ‘don’t worry, no one ever gets it…’
And then I got my first C on a report card ever. The envelope came the next day. She went crazy hahahaha, and almost cursed me out of the house saying 'see. That’s why you’re not allowed to get C’s</p>
