what ya think?

it's not a big reach... don't discourage yourself

Yeah, definitely don't discourage yourself, but also, DO NOT send your SAT scores. A 620 is far too low. Send your act score and you have just as much of a shot as the next unhooked applicant.

Um, Peugeot, that's not possible if she has to send in her SAT IIs...

Just because one of your SAT scores is a little low doesn't mean you shouldn't send it (you probably have to anyway) but don't let it discourage you. You need to show how much you love Brown, and how you're a great match in ways that exceed your SAT scores. If you focus on the good, like your school transcript and your ECs, then your application will reflect that. Be confident. Some people just really aren't great test takers..... either way, best of luck.

((also.. if you end up, in the long run, getting rejected... don't say "it was definitely that SAT score." you will never, ever, ever know why you do/don't get in. so don't dwell on it now, or ever.))

Brown requires SATI. ACT is only a supplement and everyone has to take the SATs.

^taffyluchia, that is untrue. Right off the website:
[quote]
Brown requires every applicant for admission to Brown in 2006-2007 to submit results of either the SAT Reasoning Test and any two SAT Subject Tests (except for the SAT Writing Test), or the ACT taken with the Writing Test option.

hmmm. I appologize. I could have sworn someone posted that everyone needs a SATI score?
