Big Scholarship, but 3.5 GPA Requirement?

Hey all! I've been offered admission to NYU Gallatin for the class of 2018 with the MLK scholarship. It makes the tuition almost nothing and the rest is covered with outside scholarships, so of course going to such a large private university at a nominal cost is an amazing opportunity.

However, I am concerned about the 3.5 GPA requirement. How feasible is that to maintain for all 4 years? If I drop below a 3.5, do I lose the scholarship immediately? Without the scholarship, I cannot afford NYU.

Anyone with experience with NYU - is 3.5 easy? Possible? Too difficult/risky?

It’s definitely possible. If it’s something you think you are going to struggle with, then you should be prepared to spend a lot of time studying, but it shouldn’t be that hard to maintain!
