big specific LAC's

can anyone name a few?

What does that mean?

LACs tend to be small-ish.

I’ve heard Wesleyan is on the big side for an LAC… haven’t checked though.

There are larger (relatively) LACs, there are small universities that function as LACs, and there are LACs in consortiums with other schools. What do you mean?

Compared to the size of, for instance, Big 10 schools, there are no big LACs. A hallmark of LACs is a high proportion of small classes, something that wouldn’t be possible in a big school.

There are a few that are slightly bigger than the usual 1800-2000. You should check but I think in the around 2,400-2,5000 range are - Vassar, Wesleyan, Middlebury, and Oberlin. One can also argue that Dartmouth while larger is also very much like an LAC. I am sure there are others and suspect that the search engines at various college guide sites, USNews or Princeton Review, may allow you to sort by size.
