I have alot, but mostly dropping 2 APs and not preparing in advance for my SATS, or should I add not taking the whole process seriously enough. I have since passed this info on to my brothers and other friends in lower grades. Although I have been lucky to into 5 schools so far, I did not get into BU and am awaiting word from GW,Notheastern,American and Occidental. So who knows..............glad i did get into some of the schools and a few of them I would consider so feel pretty relieved about that BUT if I did this all over again........I would take things more seriously. This was ONE tough year as far as competition..............good luck to you all!

I'd take the SATs again...

and take more time on my essays!

I would've started on my applications sooner, re-took my SATs, and learned to HAVE A BALANCED SCHEDULE. At times, I worked way too freaking hard and burnt out.

I'd try harder in school. I've been told so many times by my teachers and parents that if I put in more effort, then I would get a 4.0.
I would also redo some social aspects of my life..and I wish I had gotten involved in Speech&Debate earlier! AND I wish that I hadn't wasted my 2005 summer.

i would've written much better essays.

they ****ed me up.

i should've found a cure to AIDS...unfortunately i couldnt.

realistically, i should've had better ECs and won at least one national award

I would've finished as much of my applications as possible last summer instead of waiting until Christmas break. :D

oh yeah that too...I wish that i finished my apps earlier...considering that most of my apps were submitted around one minute before the deadline. ACtually, my princeton app was 0.9 seconds before the time....

I had to pull 4 all nighters close to the deadline thanks to my fantastic tendency to procrastinate

Should have been more serious in school and got better grades.

Also should have gotten more involved i.e. leadership or something.

1) Should have applied to Harvard, Yale, Princeton.

2) Should have focused more on debate.

3) Should have thought about my college list more.

not studying for SATs at all.

not applying to more colleges, even though i'm 100%.

...should've applied to more reach schools.......not worried sooooooooo much since turning in my APPS in Jan............other than that, I am happy!!!!!

Should have focused more on academics right from the start, rather than realizing I had to put in more effort almost halfway through highschool.. I think I'd be in the top 10 right now.

I'm opposite Runawa, I should have applied to more matches!

I wish I had actually studied for the ACT and SAT's and I wish I had been more social in high school instead of just focusing on getting a 4.0.

should have retaken the SATS & applied to Brown & UMD College Park. oh well- i'm happy anyway!

Not applying to RPI and U Rochester :( :(

i didn't study for the sat, waited until the day the app was due to do my essay, turned the app in right before the deadline, and only applied to one school.....but as far as the application process goes i have no regrets. the regrets that i have is not realizing that education should be to improve yourself instead of just a grade, and i should have applied for scholarships.

I should have found safeties that I liked and actually wanted to go to so that it was actually a good moment when I got an acceptance. And I should have applied some places early/rolling so I would have been assured of at least one spot somewhere before RD came out.

I wish I had gotten more involved in ECs earlier, done more community service, gotten more leadership positions, worked, and tried harder in school. I also wish I had been less shy and had more fun. I bet I could have gotten into HYPSM if I had done those things. I hope I still get into Harvard.

O yea I also should have applied EA to Harvard. I didn't apply anywhere early, lowering my chances.

And I should have spent more time on my apps. I pretty much did them all on the last day, sending them after 11 PM on the deadline.
