I really love to ride my bike around town. What are some bike friendly and well known college campuses?

Davis is one of the more bike-friendly towns/universities.

<a href=“Davis, California - Wikipedia”>Davis, California - Wikipedia;

Most universities like Oregon State and University of Oregon are very bike friend. Oregon itself is very bike-friendly, we the largest bike rider population in the nation I believe.

Stanford, definitely. Nearly all students have bikes, and one of the most striking things you’ll see on campus is the huge lines of bike racks outside each building and dorm.

Davis for sure
You cannot go to UC Davis without a bike

UCSB should be on the list; they have dedicated bike lanes all thru campus that are next to sidewalks with nary a road in sight (compared to bike lines that are just a stripe painted on a road where cars are whizzing by a foot away). Since UCSB is on a mesa its easy to get around school and the adjoining town of Isla Vista, and its not hard to ride a bike to downtown Santa Barbara if you want a bit of exercise.

Another vote for UCSB:

University of Colorado-Boulder. There are bike racks outside of every building and many are full.

UC Davis, bikes are everywhere. It’s awesome how almost everyone has a bike.

Add DUKE to this list.

If the only restrictions have to do with bike riding, MIT.

I would put my vote with the University of Florida. A link up there has it rated as the 16th most bike friendly city.
In addition I found this, “More than 6,000 Gainesville residents ride a bicycle…” I would say that a good bit of that 6000 is college students commuting to campus.
