Bikes or longboard??

Heard bikes get stolen alot at UCSB, so i really want a longboard. I was wondering if there are alot of stolen longboards. I'll keep my longboard close to me at all times.

because you usually keep your longboard with you pretty much where ever you go (i.e. in the dorm room, against the wall in class) the amount of longboards stolen is waay lower than bikes. the only inconvenience for taking them to class is a new skateboard lane they have made and are testing out this fall quarter. i mean, i know it’s no different than all the bike laws and lanes on campus, but it seems a little narrow.

Have you seen the lanes in person? They don’t look that narrow to me…

i have seen the lanes in person. it might be a little difficult to ride next to someone else, but for one person the lanes are more than adequate.
