Bikes & Scooters

I've seen many people with bikes, scooters, and skateboards around campus. Does anyone know where to buy a bike or scooter at a reasonable price, and at a reasonable distance from campus?

amazon.com. :D

no tax. free shipping on those bikes.

eBay > Amazon

Please promise not to run people over and such.

cuz uh.

have been almost hit by a wayward bike/skater/unicycle too many times.

My d is a freshman with a 2 pm class up by the dorms and a 3 pm chem class on south campus. she took a Culver city bus to Target this week and bought a $30 scooter to make it on time! I told her: don't run anybody over and don't break your neck.

Bikes at target are dirt cheap. They might not be racing quality, but fine for getting around Westwood.

So was the $30 scooter at Target on sale or not?

target sells the Razor A model for $30.. and the A2 for $40 regularly.

The main difference between the two models is that the A2 has a wheelie bar (not sure if the springless shock system in the A2 matters much).

I'm a little worried about the 143-lbs. weight limit on those things though. I weigh about 135-140 lbs already and I might be carrying some books too... anybody have anything to say about this?
