Bikes!

Do you HAVE to ride a bike if you attend UC Davis?

I have never heard of that before.

No, you don't have to ride a bike, but it would be convenient though.

I highly recommend it, especially if you a living in cuarto. Davis has a pretty big campus, and a bike can save your ass when you wake up at 8 and your test was suppose to start at 8.....

I don't want to ride a bike...lol.......

Lol, I've been to the campus a couple of times and it certainly seems like everyone has a bike... but it's not a rule or anything. But since it's such a huge campus it'd probably save you a lot of time. I've heard that a lot of people have bikes at the SB campus too.

Don't get a fancy bike though. For the most part everyone rides crappy bikes.

crappy bike! heck yah im there already ( if you dont look at my application that is)

You don't need a bike, but if you're a freshman, I would recommend at least having one. You don't need to ride it, but just in case you do wake up at 8 and the test starts at 8, you'll thank yourself for having it.

If you live in Cuarto, then I would HIGHLY recommend at least having one. You can bus it to campus, but if you miss the bus...

I strongly recommend a bike if your going to Davis. The campus is very spread out. You will get tired if for instance, you need to walk from the library to the buildings where your classes are held. But don't get a fancy bike because there's always a risk of theft since your bike will be left permanently on campus. Just get the crappiest bike that you can find, but if you get a new bike, what some students do is take it home and spray paint it (basically visually ruining it). Lowly thieves always go for the mint bikes. They will be less likely to want to steal a bike that has been altered.

You don't have to have a bike. Its just more convenient because the buildings are spread out. I recomend buying a cheap bike.

now while you don't HAVE TO have a bike...it's kinda a big deal here...
