<p>ok so i’m sure this question has been brought up before but i can’t find the answer…</p>
<p>are bikes a definite MUST at UC Davis or would i do just fine by walking?
riding a bike to class doesn’t really appeal to me</p>
<p>Walking is fine most of the time. If you have back-to-back classes at buildings across from campus, you may find yourself a few minutes late. It won’t be the end of the world. If they’re just lectures, you can leave class early to make it to the second class on time.</p>
<p>When I was a first-year, I biked all the time. Now that I live off-campus, the bus is my best friend. Haha.</p>
<p>Most people bike for convenience. But it does get hectic with so many people on the streets and such. I schedule my classes when I’m lucky … so that I can walk. Or bus from my apartment.</p>
