<p>what types of bikes are mostly on campus? i want to bring one up but i dont know anything about bikes. should i go with a road bike, mountain bike, etc? im planning on buying a used bike from craigslist or something</p>
<p>Biking is pretty hard at Cal since there are so many hills and the campus has a several hundred foot rise from the west to east. However, the people who do have bikes (a significant number of people, though less than at other schools) usually have road bikes.</p>
<p>they all have crummy road bikes or fixies cause they are all hipster people. just get a cheap bike so you don’t get to bummed if it gets stolen</p>
