I wonder whether Dean Rashad would just love for Bill Cosby to be quiet:
About a year ago his lawyers were arguing he was at death’s door and should be released on humanitarian grounds.
He seems to have recovered.
It is quite a miraculous recovery, indeed.
TMZ just reported that he has several promoters interested in booking him for shows.
Guess the prison systems have miracle cures for aging and illness.
Sick and pathetic are the printable words that come to mind.
Any public appearance by Bill Cosby is likely to attract a lot of attention. This does not mean that viewers support Cosby, just that there is interest in hearing about his prison / legal system experience and level of remorse–if any. (If it helps,Charles Manson interviews also attract a lot of viewers.)
FWIW: If a politician/running for public office, it would help if Bill Cosby endorsed one’s opponent.
In short, Bill Cosby is not Mike Tyson.
Yep, it definitely will be a “freak” show.
If he has any ‘comedy’ or entertainment type shows, that will be a real test of how serious the entertainment industry and the public are about punishing those who have abused women. A ‘news’ type show is different. How could anyone laugh at this man’s jokes knowing what he did to so many women.
I wonder if Louis C. K. will be the opener…
