<p>My son will definitely be there, so many of his friends are graduating this year! This should be entertaining!</p>

<p>Wow - that is an awesome choice! I remember learning science in grammar school from his videos. Lehigh is very fortunate to get some pretty great commencement speakers.</p>
<p>I am wildly jealous of the Class of 2013 - Bill was on our list for next year but with Tyson cancelling they took him off. I might go to see him!</p>
<p>Lol are this year’s accepted students allowed to go? I really want to see him.</p>
<p>My son’s kind of ticked off because his class (2014) had him on their list! But at least he will be there and will hear him speak. It is usually streamed live as well.</p>
<p>I’m upset. Totally unfair. We had Jeffrey Sachs. It was doom and gloom as it was 2009 and the economy just tanked.</p>
<p>mumof2boyz, tell him not to be that upset. While we did have him on our list, it is unlikely that he would have been chosen. If Tyson ended up coming, Gast would not have chosen another “science-y” person for our year (to make two science people in a row). Our person is likely going to be a businessperson or politician. I’m just hoping it’s someone upbeat or charismatic. A little name recognition would be nice too.</p>
