Binders and books?

He is a troll. Look at how many threads he's started in the different forums in CC and look at his post count coupled with his registration date.

Wow, what kinda high school did you seriously go to?

I do not know, as I have only facetiously attended school.

If my sarcasm is not obvious, perhaps this sentence will render it more salient.

I don't know if this thread is serious or not, but on the off chance it is, how you take notes doesn't matter. You'll turn in your papers typed, and you will take your tests in bluebooks or on scantrons. Personally, I take notes on my laptop and carry around a notebook for things I can't/don't want to type. Everyone does it differently.

Does EVERYTHING have to be typed?

HikoSeijuro, are you heading off to college or daycare?

Do people use binder in college? Is it best to have a single huge binder for all your classes or a separate binder for each class? Do the professors have a requirement for you to buy or is it up to you? What about pens? What kind of pens or pencils? And do most people carry their backpacks to class like in high school or just their books?

Binder--depends on the person. In my experience, the professors don't care what you use. You could have just separate spiral notebooks for each class if you want too. Pens and pencils--up to you. Some people carry bookbags, others don't. Most people I see carry bookbags or have a rolling backpack with wheels on it.

And when do people usually buy textbooks for their classes? Before class begins or after? Do you need them on first day of classes?

[/quote]

Some people buy them before classes, some after. It might depend on the university though. Mine has an online ordering system and a Get Booked Early thing so they will mail the books to you. Usually you don't need books on the first day of class.

What else do you need for the first day of classes? Do professors prefer a mailbag, or a regular bookbag?? Are you sure you won't need books on first day of class?

pen and/or pencil, whichever YOU prefer.
notebook of some sort, your choice, and/or laptop computer.
you should buy your books before class starts.

Profs don't care what your bag looks like, what color your shirt is, or how many pencils you have in your pocket.

Why all of the super detailed questions? If someone told you to get X bag in green, with two black one inch binders inside, and only to write with blue pens of a certain brand, would you actually do exactly that???? Use common sense and do what is comfortable to you.

you're all idiots...shut up idiots
