Binders, folders, notebooks -- how should I organize?

Here’s my schedule:

  • Bio 172
  • Chem 130
  • Arabic 101
  • FYWS in the RC

Should I even bother with a binder and folders? Any help will be very appreciated!

I’m a rising junior, and I still buy folders and notebooks. For Chem 130, it’d probably be better to get a binder. You could wait until syllabus week to get a feel for what you’ll need. Some profs don’t allow laptops in class, so you’ll wanna get a notebook for those classes. Just feel it out.

Side note: the RC’s a great place, you’ll love it! Also so many of the FYWS are raved about, so you’ll enjoy it.

@bbsimmons thanks! Does chem have a lot of handouts? I know that this depends heavily on the professor/GSI, but just in general I guess. What size do you recommend?

As for the others, do you think a notebook with pockets would be enough?
