Bing Maps for "bird's eye" views of UA campus

[Bing Maps](<a href=“Bing Maps - Directions, trip planning, traffic cameras & more”>http://www.bing.com/maps/?FORM=Z9FD#JnE9LnVuaXZlcnNpdHkrb2YrYWxhYmFtYSU3ZXNzdC4wJTdlcGcuMSZiYj0zMy43NjAzNjcxNjU3MzUxJTdlLTg0LjQwMTc5NTIwOTM2MzQlN2UzMy43NTk2NjE2MDEzNDUzJTdlLTg0LjQwNDMxOTQ3NzE3NQ==)

This is a really cool link. Allows you to search for locations all over the world, and get an aerial view of whatever location you choose to view. After putting University of Alabama in the bing search box, click on “Bird’s Eye” View for an amazing view from above. It might take a while to figure out how to scan across the whole campus, but once you figure it out, you can look at the entire campus, and Tuscaloosa area. This bird’s eye view is a bit dated as it still shows an unfinished Science and Engineering Building (Phase 2). But I thought this would be a good chance for some potential students to take a loot at Bama before scheduling an on campus tour.

forgot to say you need to click on “Aerial” first, then click on “Bird’s Eye” View. And it is also a view of Bama during the Winter, so it is not as green as you might expect.

Ridgecrest South hasn’t been built yet in this pic.

Is there a way to zoom out a bit? I can’t seem to do that once in birds eye view.

Enjoyed that look! Thanks Atlanta!

mom,

I noticed that too. I could zoom out with other campus maps, but not UA’s. Dunno why.
