Hi, I got accepted into RIT and got that 10k presidential grant thing a year, if I keep up a B- average throughout the 4 years, which is kind of low in my opinion... and SUNY Binghamton as well. I applied for game design and development for rit and comp sci for bing. Which college is better in computer science and college life in general?? Money is always an issue, but I'll like to hear opinions that aren't money based. thanks in advance.

What’s bing?

^I think, SUNY Binghamton. I thought he meant the search engine at first…I thought was a rather strange comparison.

OP said SUNY Binghamton in his post.

With the Presidential scholarship, RIT is only a few thousand more than SUNY. RIT will have a year of coop work, which in addition to the experience and job prospects (which by itself could be your tiebreaker), will lower the net cost.

RIT is well known for computer and game design. Bing is very respected overall. Have you visited both?

no, i haven’t visited either though I heard rit is full of computer geeks, or at least that’s what its said and I really wouldn’t like to spend 4 year mingling among them and as for binghamton, my big brother is there, I could always ask him, though he’s in engineering.

has anyone been to rit?? or is currently in there…
