We received a phone call regarding sending deposit for Binghampton Advantage by this Friday, 4/24. We still did not receive financial aid package from Broome (sent FAFSA about 2 weeks ago). Is it really legal for Binghampton to request deposit before May 1st? Did anybody else receive this phone call?
There is another thread on this site that discusses the rules regarding the May 1st decision and being pressured to make a decision before that date. There is a suggestion about who to contact if rules are being violated.
