The testing section in my portal disappeared today.
what are your numbers Diamonde?
@diamonde congrats and good luck! If you donât mind me asking, what time did the testing section disappear for you? Rooting for you!
Mine disappeared too! Is this a good or bad signâŠ
No change yet for my kid (92 GPA, 1350 SAT, good extracurriculars, 4 APs + College Now).
My GPA is a 3.7 and my ACT is a 33. I donât know exactly what time it disappeared but I noticed it was gone at around 12:45.
@mnlheadhunter the disappearance means that youâll probably get your decision tonight.
No way to tell. All you can know is that a decision has been made and will probably release in about 2 hours or so.
Any decisions tonight??
@NYCLawyer what is College Now?
Accepted!!!
congrats @diamonde
My D was accepted tonight!! So happy, Bing is a great option for her ?
Congratulations @diamonde and @Jeopardymomnoob
My son is a Sophmore in the SOM and is really happy. If you have any questions feel free to reach out.
Thanks!!! My daughter was getting very nervous because of the waves of releases, some comparable friends heard they were in before the holidays. Nerve-wracking!!! So relieved even though I knew she should have been an easy in! Great to hear your S has been happy there. Can I ask if you are IS or OOS and what size high school/town he came from?
@Jeopardymomnoob We are In-State (his roommate is OOS). He went to a pretty competitive public HS on Long Island (according to Niche). His graduating class was 444 students (around 1500 students in the HS).
Was bing his first choice? We are upstate in a large competitive suburban public school. We visited and she liked it much more than she expected but some of her other options are UVM, James Madison, URI, McGill⊠Iâm wondering if Binghamtons remote location will be enough to keep her happy, if that makes sense. Also did he have AP credits and if so were they good about applying credit for them? Thanks so much for your help!
@Jeopardymomnoob No problem at all. Binghamton was his first choice, and they took all of his college credits and APâs. He did not need to take a language or math because of the credits he came in with. Binghamton didnât feel nearly as remote to me as some of the other SUNY schools. The campus is lively with a lot of events between clubs, Greek Life, and events downtown (e.g., Luma Project Arts festival).
@Jeopardymomnoob and @diamonde - Congratulations! What schools at Bing were you accepted to?
Harpur for us!
Harpur!
