@icaridi Thank you so much for clarifying. That was actually so helpful!! I’m also waiting for Harpur and for the most part decisions have been released on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the last Tuesday is on the 31 which is really late. It’s so frustrating that the wait is so long especially since I just want to know where I’m going. Also, hyk Harpur hasn’t come out yet? I hope you get in though. Wish you the best

I think that most waitlist decisions were just sent out and since all the decisions aren’t fully out yet, I don’t think anyone has been given the decision to go to Bing for Spring 2021. And for your second question, hopefully not. It’s always been Tuesdays and Thursdays but next Tuesday is the 31st and that seems a little too late to send out decisions. However, Bing seems extremely confusing and complicated. I applied to Harpur and was deferred in Jan. Waiting to hear back. Hbu?
@thatcollegebitch ah thank you for the response! I applied to Harpur RD in January and I’m still waiting. hopefully we hear back tomorrow! the wait is painful. I’ll be happy with either fall or spring admission. hoping for the best for you as well! i’d hope they wouldn’t wait this long to reject people though that’d be awful.
@thatcollegebitch thank you! You too! I have a lot of friends who were deferred/RD Harpur and haven’t heard back yet. Tuesday is late, but during EA once the deadline was approaching they released decisions everyday.
Hopefully, we all hear back today. I know Stony Brook has sent out most of their decisions including waitlists. It is frustrating that their decisions are sent out so late because other great schools have accepted me and I don’t want to wait this long just for a waitlist or a rejection. Feeling salty.
My son was deferred EA from Watson and heard last night that he has been waitlisted. Fortunately he has been offered a decent scholarship from RIT so will probably attend there.
Stats are: 3.5 GPA, 1410 SAT, 8 APs, not a ton of extracurriculars with the exception of a Varsity sport.

@Melinaiavarone I haven’t heard of anyone getting deferred and then accepted. Mostly waitlist or rejection. What school did you apply to? Most people who applied for harpur had their portals changed today so that might be a good sign
