My son still has not heard anything. He was deferred from EA. Has anyone else still not heard?
I was deferred from Harpur for EA, however I just got my acceptance for the spring 2021 semester tonight! Iâm an in-state applicant with a 1340 SAT and 91 GPA
@2024nycsenior Congrats! I think my son is the only one that has not received a response. He has a 30 ACT and 94 GPA. But at this point, it seems like he will be waitlisted or rejected.

Ec: Worked a summer job, chess club
I honestly should not have gotten in.
My son got accepted to Harpur, for Spring 2021 and waitlisted for Fall 2020. Kinda nervewracking!

Extracurriculars: Various clubs, Varsity Cricket for 2 years, have community service hours and job experience
Applied to SOM, got waitlisted

I feel a little stupid. Maybe since I havenât left my house since the 11th. Son was accepted for Spring 2021. Thatâs why the letter sounded like a rejection letter. Reading is fundamental kids.
Spring sem might be the first one back to normal anyways.

@soulking847 when you accepted Spring 2021 did they say it is binding? What if student goes to another school for fall and ends up loving it?
It didnât specify anything in the acceptance email. I donât think you have to go there if you end up loving the school you go to in the fall. But I donât think theyâll refund your down payment for reserving your seat there.(I forgot the name of it lol)
