Put deposit down for spring 2021 this morning. DS just got call from Bing about coming in Fall. I can imagine theyāre getting a lot of defer requests, etc.
We have 24 hours. With current climate. Think Spring is still best. Oh why couldnāt this just have been a normal year.
we were EA, then got deferred and then waitlisted. My son got a call yesterday, and got accepted! We already put a down on stony but will cancel.
Was he originally waitlisted for Fall but accepted into Spring? Congrats!!
Does it give any institutional aid or that only comes from the fed and state governments, such as a Pell Grant, which Bing has nothing to do with giving out?

Has anyone, other than dad1023ās son, got off the waitlist. Still havenāt heard anything.
We havenāt heard anything. I wish we could find out where on the waitlist our kids are?
Could I ask what gpa and sat scores were?

@Tricialoos he had 1380 SAT and GPA of 4.0. He will be dorming at Dickinson this fall. Super excited! For the rest who are still waiting, just keep the faith but be sure to have a fallback.
Congratulations!! Were you able to get your housing already?
@ACatSLP yes, he was able to find a group, i think it is a 5 person suite, 2 doubles and 1 single.

How did you know you were able to book your housing? Were the time slots given out already somewhere?

I just clarified it with my son, he had a group but left it since he felt it was not a good match 
but started looking again 
He said he is waiting for the portal to openā¦
