My son got into Harpur tonight!
In-state, applied on 11/1
1350 SAT
97 average
6 AP classes
4 dual enrollment classes
All the rest are honors classes
Keep checking the portal! We still have NOT gotten an email and he was notified on his portal hours ago.

Do you (or anyone else) know if the portal is updated 24/7? We are still waiting to hear (grrr).
I don’t know how often they update it. From what I’ve seen on this chat it seems like they update it mostly weekday evenings.

It is hard to wait so long! It seems they release mid week… tues,wed, thurs. Maybe they will step it up since we are suppose to know by 1/15🙏🏻

I really hope so. So many people are still waiting just in our area. We can’t all be getting rejected and deferred. I just don’t know how they can release all of these decisions by 1/15 only doing it 1-2x per week.
I wonder if they will defer all of the applications they haven’t gotten around to reviewing yet. I’ve heard from a few people (one of whom works for SUNY Albany admissions) that Bing is inundated with EA applications. And apparently SOM is the worst as far as being overwhelmed.
