Yes, my son got the same exact email two days after he was deferred (which was about 3 weeks ago).

Same for me. First email was the offer for me to switch from SOM (Business School) to Harpur. I declined the offer and the next day I was sent an email saying how strong an applicant I was (but not quite strong enough for admission to SOM at this time) and they’ll review me again for SOM in the Regular applicant pool. I think it was the standard Deferral email.
Did anyone get a rejection?

Good to know thanks! Her boyfriend was deferred and received an email saying he will need to provide mid year grades so I guess it’s a good sign. Good luck to everyone still waiting!
I got deferred earlier this week, and weirdly did not receive any emails. I just checked my portal often
That’s so weird? Could it have gone to spam? We received both the decision email and then the 2nd email a few hours apart.
Nothing in spam… very weird!
My son got the same email after the deferral email.

FWIW, DS deferred from SOM, never got any e-mails, just a portal update with a letter that specifically states that no additional information is required.
Does anyone have idea when we could start to hear answers from being deffered?
Did anybody receive a call from Bing congratulating them on their acceptance? My D got a call this past Wednesday. Surprised it was a real life person, lol

Im new to this thread, but can someone tell me how Bing’s admissions work? Are acceptances released in waves? My son applied about a month ago, but it seems other kids who applied RD are getting or have gotten decisions sooner…

Received merit scholarship in mail today making it affordable. I do not see it on the portal. We are OOS in CA, now we wait to see if son picks bing!
