good luck transfers! i spent my freshman year at suny oneonta and i’m not even complete with my first semester here at bing and i LOVE it, transferring here is the best decision i’ve ever made and i’m so happy with my decision to go here. there are so many clubs, interesting classes, and cool people at this school! hope to see you around next semester!

Matthew, where are you transferring from and why?
I’m currently a first semester freshman too at Fordham University and am looking to transfer to Binghamton. I’m currently commuter and drive an hour each way to/from school, plus the price tag is a little ridiculous. At Bing I get to live on campus, and pay much less.

Applying to the School of Management, accounting possibly
2nd semester freshman @ Fordham, 5 classes with GPA of 3.7
H.S. GPA of 3.9
SAT 1800

Hello,
I just checked the status checker three hours ago, and I found out that I was admitted!
I originally applied to SOM as a Global Management major, but after finding being told it would be nearly impossible to be admitted into SOM as a first semester freshman, I quickly changed my school and major to Harpur and Economics. Good luck everyone!

Thanks Steveeee:) I was able to tell because it said “accepted. Congratulations!” in the decision box. Prior to receiving my decision, my decision box said “application complete”. I did send in my midterm grade report, I think it helped because I got A’s in all of my classes.

Congrats kjs007! How long after from when the decision box said “application complete” did you hear your response? Did they ask for your midterm grade report?

Thanks jessnicole34, and a day after the box changed, I received my decision. I emailed admissions beforehand asking if I can send in my Midterm grade report; and admissions said that I could, but it may not even be reviewed. I already had the report filled out to be sent to other schools I applied to, so I faxed it to Binghamton as well.

Mine says it’s complete and ready for review and next to the decision it says application complete. I’m applying as a sophomore transfer, how about you?

Mine still says application complete too. How long does it usually take? And why do some people get an answer earlier than others? (Like a few days after the box changed to application complete).
