Binghamton University vs Boston University -- Engineering

I was wondering if anyone had any experience or opinions towards the engineering programs of each school, specifically for mechanical and electrical engineering. I received a 30,000 scholarship from BU, but housing will be free for me past the second year and a 6,000 scholarship from Binghamton. So although BU will be more expensive, I'd rather go there if my opportunities for co-op, internships, connections, and the overall quality of education is better. Any thoughts? Plus I mean, it's in Boston :).

Well it looks like you already know where you want to go.
