Binghamton vs. Geneseo (for Business)

Hey,

I have a little less than a week to decide between the two.
As an undergraduate business student, which university would be more beneficial for me? Finding jobs, academic programs, and everything overall. I plan on majoring in either business administration or economics.

As for cost, I pretty much have to pay the same amount for both schools so that isn't a problem.

Thanks.
Good luck on your acceptances!

definitely binghamton. it has the best undergraduate business program out of all the sunys and it gets the most recruiting

thanks!

i’ve been hearing mixed responses though. that geneseo is more business oriented, also being that it’s the best of the sunys. are you currently a business major at binghamton?

Well it’s weird because Geneseo is often regarded by upstaters as the top suny while many long islanders (like myself) always hear about bing being #1. that more than anything has to do the people that go to the schools tho, as geneseo has more upstaters while bing is mostly li/nyc. Bing’s business program has more recruiting tho, and the program in general is supposed to be stronger. And I will be a business major at bing next year (assuming I dont fail senior year :p)

[Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2011 - Businessweek](<a href=“Bloomberg - Are you a robot?”>Bloomberg - Are you a robot?) binghamton ranks #37, geneseo isn’t ranked. see also [Business School Rankings and Profiles: EMBA, Executive Education, MBA, Part-time MBA, Distance MBA](<a href=“Bloomberg - Are you a robot?”>Bloomberg - Are you a robot?) for profiles of each school (under Northeast – binghamton is listed as binghamton university, geneseo as State University of NY - Geneseo)

everyone always tries to compare binghamton and geneseo since they are the most selective of the sunys. they are simply different. binghamton is a university center. geneseo is a liberal arts college. which is better depends on what you want to study and what type of environment you want (rural vs. suburban, number of students, etc.)

Binghamton! No question great business school for undergrads
