I got accepted into both universities but I now have the dilemma over which one to go to... I have no idea about what each campus looks like since I live in South America and I won't be able to visit them. Nor do I have any idea about the surrounding area but I prefer somewhere where there's plenty to do. I'm planning on majoring in Biology, btw.

Also, Oswego gave me a Residential scholarship so that makes things more complicated. I filed for financial aid VERY late so I dunno if I'll get any help............

The biggest difference that I can think of is the weather. Oswego is very cold and gets a lot of snow. Binghamton is a few hours south and the weather will be much less severe. Students at Binghamton are academically stronger than those at Oswego. Binghamton (the city) is bigger than Oswego (the city.) Both are about an hour from Syracuse, the closest "big" city, but Binghamton is not that far from NYC. All things being equal, personally I would choose Binghamton. You'll have to decide how much the $ issue counts. Good luck! I know kids who have attended both and been happy and successful.
